- Enterprise COBOL. Also appropriate for shops running COBOL for OS/390 and VM, COBOL for MVS & VM, COBOL/370, VS COBOL II, COBOL for VSE, or any ANSI 85 COBOL (some topics and exercises will not apply).

- COBOL application programmers in installations moving to any of the follow-on compilers to VS COBOL II. COBOL programmers who need to address issues of UNIX System Services support, inter-language communication, or dynamic file allocation techniques.
- Prerequisites
- At the very least, the student entering this course should have a strong programming background in COBOL.
